One of the most effective ways to interview with a lot of organizations in one day is at a job fair. Several journalism groups have job fairs along with their conventions. Even if you are not a member of that group, most will welcome you to their job fair if you register as a non-member. See which conventions will be in your area and whether there is an association you would like to join.
